The Scan

We start by scanning your lakebed using precision sonar equipment. Unlike traditional visual surveys, our sonar penetrates the water column to identify vegetation density, plant height, and bottom hardness with 1cm target separation. We see what lies beneath the surface before a diver ever enters the water.

The Analysis

The raw sonar data is converted into high-resolution Vegetation Heat Maps. We identify exactly where invasive Eurasian Watermilfoil is clustering and distinguish it from beneficial native grasses. This allows us to build a "Surgical Strike Plan," ensuring we only target the problem areas and leave the ecosystem intact.

Our certified dive team executes the plan using Diver Assisted Suction Harvesting (DASH). We manually extract the invasive weeds by the root crown, feeding them into a vacuum tube that transports them directly to a boat. This ensures zero fragmentation, preventing the weeds from re-rooting elsewhere.
